  6. ***CAN USE A HAM STEAK OR LEFT OVER HAM FROM THE HOLIDAY.. CAN USE BONE…. IVE HAD THE BUTCHER CUT UP AN OLD FASHIONED BONE IN HAM… INTO SERVING SIZE PIECES FOR BEANS..
  7. season with salt and pepper to taste ….
  8. REMOVE BAY LEAVES
