- Once boiling, reduce heat and allow to constantly simmer for 15 minutes. Stirring every so often. Cook until you can put a fork in and it easily go in and out. Once ready pour water out and return to pot.
- Heat butter in microwave until melted (10-15 seconds). Add melted butter to pot of potatoes and mash up. Be careful not to overmash. Add milk a bit at a time and stir with a wooden spoon. Again careful not to over stir. (Potatoes can become glue if this is done too much) Add Thyme/dill.
- Serve your mince and tatties in a bowl together. Enjoy.
