The ingredients needed to make Lamb Qorma:
  1. Take 1/2 cup oil
  2. Take 2 onion thinly sliced
  3. Prepare 1/2 kg Lamb meat
  4. Take 1 Tbsp Ginger & garlic
  5. Prepare Salt to taste
  6. Make ready 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Coriander powder
  7. Prepare Whole spices (Black pepper, cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf)
  8. Get 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  9. Make ready 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Red chili powder
  10. Prepare 1 & 1/2 cup Yogurt
  11. Make ready Ginger 2” piece cut into julienne
  12. Take 1 tsp Garam masala
  13. Make ready 1 tsp Nutmeg & Mace grinded
  14. Make ready 4-5 green Cardamom grinded
  15. Make ready 1 Tbsp Kewra Essence / kewra water
Steps to make Lamb Qorma:
  1. In a wok heat 1/2 cup oil. Add sliced onion and fry until brown. Take out fried onion in a big tray and spread. - In same oil add 1/2 cup more, heat and add meat and ginger & garlic paste, mix well until meat change color. Add salt, coriander powder, whole spices, turmeric and red chili powder and mix well for 5 minutes.
  2. Add yogurt and mix well. On low flame let meat cook for 35-45 minutes add 1/2 cup or 1 cup water if meat is not tender. - Take fried onion and grind it finely. Add it to meat and mix well. - Add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Add garam masala, grinded cardamom, grinded nutmeg & Mace and mix well and let it cook till all meat tender. Add kewra essence / kewra water and cover and let it cook for 5-10 minutes on lower flame.
  3. Delicious Lamb Korma is ready to serve garnish with ginger julienne and fresh chopped coriander.
