- Prepare Plain flour for sprinkling before frying
- Get 2-4 tablespoons Olive oil for cooking

- Make 24 hours before cooking, to let the
- Heat a non-stick frying pan on low heat, add 1 teaspoon olive oil & fry onions until soft, add the garlic & fry gently until fragrant & soft, add to the bowl with the mince.
- Add the rest of the ingredients up to & including the breadcrumbs.
- Mix well, I use my hands to mix & blend everything together.
- Cover tightly with clingfilm & leave in fridge 5 hours minimum but overnight is better, I have found.
- Cut 8 pieces of non-stick paper into squares that are just bigger than the burgers or 8 lightly greased pieces of foil & place on a large tray that will hold 8 burgers.(the paper or foil makes it easier to move the burgers from tray when ready to fry)
- Use your hands to form 8 burgers using equal amounts of meat. I used a large, ring cutter to help me shape the burgers neatly.
- When ready to cook the burgers. Heat a large nonstick frying pan on low heat until a sprinkle of flour sizzles.
- Sprinkle a burger very lightly with flour & place in pan, if your pan is big enough, you may be able to fit 4 in a pan, I was able to fit 3. Cook burgers 10 minutes each side for well done burgers.
- Serve however you like!
